Choose to bake a slightly sweet (1/2 cup sugar), medium sweet (3/4 cup sugar) or regular sweet (1 cup sugar) cake. Manage your sugar intake and enjoy a delicious and moist gluten-free classic pound cake whichever way You choose!
Preheat oven to
325 degrees
Mix 1 Cup unsalted butter (room temp) & 2 Tbsp. hot water until fluffy (about 10 minutes)
Stir in 1 bag of Gluvana…. & either 3/4, 1 or 1 & 1/4 full cup of granulated sugar (See above and Nutrition Facts).
Add 1/4 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy, at room temp), 1 tsp. vanilla & 1 tsp. lemon extracts, & 4 eggs one at a time, mixing on low to medium speed until combined.
Pour into a greased 10 inch loaf pan. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until done in center. Check at 50 minutes in case your oven bakes in less time. Cool in pan for 15-20 minutes; remove. Add frosting or topping if desired.
